Returns and Exchanges

We want to make sure you are fully satisfied with your Hatley purchase. If you would like to return an unworn and unused item and receive a full refund to your original payment method, your online return must be initiated within 40 days of the order delivery date. You can either ship the items back to us or return the items at the nearest Hatley or Little Blue House Boutique.

If you have purchased an item from one of our stores, please contact the store directly and follow their return procedures.

If you would like to make an exchange, simply return the item and place a new order.

Eligibility for returns:

To be eligible for a return and receive a full refund to your original payment method, please ensure the following:

  • The item must be unworn, unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • The item must have all tags attached and be in its original packaging.
  • The return must be initiated within 40 days of the order delivery date.

Non-Refundable Items:

Please note that the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Swimwear
  • Underwear
  • Hair Accessories (including headbands and hair clips)

These items are not eligible for return due to hygiene and health reasons.

Preparing your order for return:


  1. Before initiating your return, please fill out our Contact Us form and be sure to select Returns and Exchanges.
  2. Please include in your return parcel the return slip that you received with your order. If you do not have this document, please include a copy of your order confirmation email and indicate the items being returned, or write your order number and the items being returned on a piece of paper and include it inside the box.
  3. Place the return form or order confirmation, along with the item(s) you are returning, in a securely sealed shipping container. You can reuse the shipping container you received your order in, just make sure any old labels on your package are removed or obscured. Then affix your shipping label.

Return Procedure:


There are two options for returns for orders shipped within Canada:

1) Print a prepaid Canada Post Label. If you purchased your items through a Hatley account (and did not order it as a GUEST), you can return your items with a prepaid Canada Post return shipping label. A $7.99 (plus tax) fee will be deducted from your refund.

  1. Login to your account here.
  2. Click on VIEW next to the order you wish to return.
  3. Select REQUEST A RETURN.
  4. Add all the items you wish to return and the reason for return then select CONTINUE.
  5. Read the terms and conditions and check the I agree to the terms and conditions box.
  6. Select REQUEST THIS RETURN button.
  7. Please allow up to 7 business days for us to review and approve your return. Once approved you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to print your return label.
2) Send back your item(s) using your own preferred method of shipment. Please note that return delivery fees are the responsibility of the customer.

We ask that you allow up to 30 days for us to receive and process your returned merchandise. You will be notified via email once your refund has been processed.

Please note that we do not refund the shipping charges you may have paid when you placed your order.
