Everblue Massawippi

North Hatley is located on the northern shores of beautiful Lake Massawippi, a freshwater lake 14.2 kilometres long at its longest points and 1.9 kilometres wide at its widest points. This quiet hamlet holds a special place in our hearts, not only because it’s where the Oldland family first started Hatley in 1986, but because its scenic beauty, surrounding nature and simple lifestyle continues to heavily inspire our brands. Protecting North Hatley’s heritage has always been important to us. Since 2007 we have been donating a percentage of our proceeds, as well as resources to Everblue Massawippi, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of Lake Massawippi and its surrounding watershed.

For the past 3 years, on International Women’s Day, Hatley has joined many other organizations in helping to give girls all over the world the chance to shine bright by donating a percentage of our proceeds to the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts - an amazing organization that supports and empowers 10 million girls in 150 countries to achieve their fullest potential and become active citizens of the world.

Hatley has deep-seated roots in alpine skiing as our three owners, who are brothers, grew up skiing in the Eastern Townships near their North Hatley, Québec hometown and continue to do so today with their own families. Being title sponsor of this fun racing event for kids, is Hatley’s way of sharing our love of nature, the outdoors and family time!
